For the past five years, Aspire to HE has funded a range of projects and initiatives with the aim of supporting young people and adults to make well-informed decisions about their future, and to help reduce the gap in higher education participation between the most and least represented groups.
This year we are pleased to be able to offer a match-funded opportunity for up to £15,000 (£30,000 total project) for local education and support providers to bid for projects they feel address at least one of our priority areas this year (please see the guidance document listed below for more details).
We want to work with local partners who have a greater understanding of where the gaps in provision or ‘cold spots’ are, with the hope of funding new or existing collaborative initiatives.
Through expanding the number of partners we support, and providing a platform for local collaborative activity, we hope to add value to the regional HE access and participation offer.
The deadline for applying for this match funding is 5pm on 7th November 2022. Any applications received will then be reviewed by a panel of both Aspire to HE staff and external stakeholders.
More details on this match funding initiative is available within the guidance document and applications can be completed using our proposal form – please find both documents below. Furthermore, if you have any questions at all or would like to discuss a potential proposal, we will be holding an optional drop-in workshop on Tuesday 1st November from 10am till 1pm. To book a slot at this drop-in or to ask any questions, please contact Amy Allen (Strategic Outreach and Delivery Lead for Aspire to HE) via amy.allen@wlv.ac.uk.
