Virtual Performing Arts Workshop and Q&A Gives Heath Park Students Uni Advice and Guidance

Last Friday, students at Heath Park got a chance to get a close-up look at the performing arts industry and the opportunities available at University of Wolverhampton. 

A Q&A gave students a chance to learn from those studying at the University, with them asking things like “what support do University students get?” and “what is your dream job in the performing arts industry?”.

After getting to learn about University life and the industry itself, Heath Park students were treated to a dance workshop from Pros from the Shows, which saw Layton Williams perform, lead a workshop and answer questions for the students present.

The event was rounded off with advice from Sabrina Sandhu, on how to best present yourself in auditions and interviews, for both University and future employment.

Overall, the workshop had a great impact on the students and helped get them excited for a future in performing arts.
